Itinerary: 6 Days Kenya Luxury Flying Safari

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, aboard your flight, and you will be met at the arrival lounge by our professional driver guide and taken to the Fairmount Norfolk where you are booked on bed and breakfast basis. The city and its surrounding area form the Nairobi County. The name “Nairobi” comes from the phrase Enkare Nyirobi, which translates to “the place of cool waters”. However, it is popularly known as the “Green City in the Sun” and is surrounded by several expanding villa suburbs.
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for schedule flight aircraft departing to Amboseli at 07:30 hours and arriving at Amboseli airstrip at 08:10 hours and on arrival met by our staff in 4×4 vehicle and transferred to camp with game drives en-route arriving in time for lunch at the camp. After lunch, relax a bit before departing for your afternoon game drive in the reserve. Amboseli National park is famous for being one of the best places in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. The park sits on the lower slopes of the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Major attractions are the large herds of elephants, Mt Kilimanjaro which is clearly visible above the clouds in an early morning, the big five and other animals including buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals.
After breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred to airstrip for schedule flight to Nairobi departing at 08:20 hours and arriving at 09.00 hours and on arrival connect to onward schedule flight to Meru departing at 09:15 hours and arriving Meru at 10;35 hours. On arrival you will be met by our staff in a 4×4 vehicle and transferred to the camp with game drives en-route. Check in at the camp and relax till lunch time. Lunch at the Camp followed by a little time for relaxation before embarking on your afternoon game drive returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight Meru National park offers the widest variety of landscapes and habitats together with different varieties of Flora and Fauna. Wildlife includes Grevy’s Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo and more than 300 recorded species.
Fly back to Nairobi and spend the afternoon at leisure in your dayroom accommodations. This evening, transfer to the airport for your departing flight.

Barely visible on approach, Elsa’s Kopje blends seamlessly into its surrounds. Perched high on top of Mughwango Hill, this superb lodge stands as tribute to Elsa, the orphaned lioness made famous in the movie Born Free. Charming cottages are crafted around the natural features of the hill, each with a spacious bedroom, open sitting rooms, ensuite bathroom and large veranda with breath-taking views of the savannah below. Elsa’s Private House – with double rooms, a sitting room, veranda and plunge pool – is ideal for families.

The menu is Northern Italian, peppered with both local and international dishes, accompanied by freshly baked bread, crisp salads and locally grown vegetables. Lamp-lit pathways lead towards guest areas that include an open bar, sitting room and dining area, with an exceptionally inviting infinity pool overlooking the Meru plains.
